Going to the Hairdresser

Words and Phrases to Help You at an Italian Hair Salon

Sometimes there’s nothing that beats a visit to a good hairdresser. Getting a great hair cut can bring you out of a funk or make you feel like a new woman–or man. I don’t get haircuts often, but I do trim it regularly. I love that my hair stylist is always aware of the newest trends and she lets me know what’s in and what’s not. When at the hairdresser there are also tons of magazines that I can look through to find the style I want. To tell you the truth the shampoo is probably my favorite part because of the head massage. It’s just like heaven to me!

To me going to the hairdresser is a great way to pamper yourself and I can’t wait for my next cut. If you’re in Italy and want to indulge in a new cut we’ve put together some words and phrases that should be helpful to teach you what to say when you go to the hairdresser (cosa dire in Italiano quando vai dal parucchiere.)
